Robert S. Miller 92 of Venice, Florida formerly of Oblong, Illinois died May 23, 2001 in Venice, Florida. He was born on October 26, 1908 near Lima, Ohio. Robert was the son of Irvin Miller and Esther (Clippinger) Miller. He married Louise Moulden and she preceded him in death in 1961. Robert was an Army Veteran of WWII and was of the Methodist faith.

He grew up in Oblong and graduated from Oblong High School in 1928.
Robert is survived by a nephew and wife Richard & Jo Wilkin. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and 1 sister Grace Wilkin.

Burial was in Oblong Cemetery.
